DAY 1 – Arrive Cairo for Egypt, Jordan, Jerusalem Tour

When you land at Cairo International Airport for your Egypt, Jordan, Jerusalem Tour, your tour manager will be there to meet you; he will offer you any assistance you may need, and he will then escort you to the hotel where you will be staying while you’re in Cairo. After your tour manager has helped you with your check in, he will briefly discuss your tour itinerary with you and then you will be left to enjoy the remainder of the day as you wish.

DAY 2 – Giza Necropolis and  Saqqara Necropolis Tours

Your tour gets off to a relatively early start today, with your tour guide meeting you at your hotel shortly after breakfast. Today, your first stop will be a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza. While you are here you will also be able to see the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. This site is also home to a relatively small museum known as the Solar Boat Museum which you can visit if you want, but tickets to the museum are not included in the price of our 13-day Egypt, Jordan, Jerusalem Tour.

After a your Pyramids tour is over, enjoy lunch at a good local restaurant, and then you will be taken to Saqqara to visit another ancient royal necropolis. Here, you will be able to see the first pyramid ever built by the ancient Egyptians, the Djoser Step Pyramid. Next, your guide and driver will then transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo.

DAY 3 – Cairo Sightseeing Tour and Flight to Aswan

After breakfast, your guide and driver will once again meet you at your hotel, and then you will visit the famous Egyptian Museum and its incredibly fascinating Treasures Room. Next, you will make your way to Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church of Cairo and the Ben Ezra synagogue. After your visit to these two sites, you will then head to Islamic Cara to visit the famous Khan el-Khalili Bazaar.

After enjoying some time at the bazaar, your guide and driver will take you to the airport, and you will board a short flight to Aswan. When you land in Aswan, another one of our tour representatives will meet you, and they will escort you to the hotel where you will be staying for the next two nights of your tour.

DAY 4 – Late Morning Tour to Abu Simbel

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, and then at 11h00 your guide will meet you take you to Abu Simbel to see the famous rock-cut Abu Simbel Temples that were constructed during the reign of King Ramses II. These are one of the most visited ancient sites in Egypt, and no amount of words can describe just how amazing they really are. Both of these temples were constructed during the 13th century to serve as lasting monuments of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari.

After you have had enough time to explore the site, you will then be driven back to your hotel in Aswan which is about a 3 hour trip.

DAY 5 – Cruise Embarkation and Aswan Tour

The next phase of your Egypt, Jordan, Jerusalem Tour begins today, so after breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel and then you’ll be taken to board your 5-star Nile Cruise. Shortly after embarkation, you will enjoy your first lunch on board the ship and then you will visit three incredibly popular tourist attractions in Aswan.

First, you will visit the Aswan High Dam, then you will move on to the beautiful ancient Temple of Philae, and finally you will be taken to see the giant Unfinished Obelisk. After spending some time at the obelisk you will head back to the cruise ship in time for a good dinner, and you will spend the first night of your Nile cruise trip on the water at Aswan.

DAY 6 – Kom Ombo Temple, Horus Temple, and Overnight at Esna

Enjoy breakfast on the water while you are sailing towards Kom Ombo where you will enjoy a visit to the ancient Kom Ombo Temple complex which is very unique due to the fact that it was dedicated to two different gods. After your visit to the temple you will return to the ship and it will set sail for Edfu where you will be taken to see the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus which was buried under the sand for more than 2,000 years.

Spend some time at the temple and then you will return to the cruise ship and it will sail to Esna where you will be spending the night on the water.

DAY 7 – Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon Tour

Today your cruise ship will make an early departure from Esna and it will sail to Luxor. Shortly after arrival, your tour guide will take you to visit some of the best ancient attractions on the West Bank in Luxor. Your first stop today will be at the Valley of the Kings where you will be able to see more than 60 royal tombs that belonged to Pharaohs and other royalty during Ancient Egypt’s New Kingdom era.

While it is sometimes possible to enter the tomb and see King Tutankhamen’s mummy, an entry ticket is not included in our Egypt, Jordan, Jerusalem Tour package. During times when this tomb is open to the public, only a certain number of tickets are made available each day, and for this reason, tour operators are not allowed to purchase tickets on behalf of their clients. Instead, tickets have to be purchased in person on the day.

Next, you will visit the magnificent rock-cut mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut before continuing on your way to the Colossi of Memnon. After this, you will then head back to the cruise ship in time for another good lunch and then you will have the rest of the day for yourself. This night of your trip will be spent on the water at Luxor.

DAY 8 – Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple Tour, and Flight to Sharm

Enjoy one last breakfast on the cruise ship, and then you will check-out and disembark, and you will be taken to see two amazing attractions on the East Bank of Luxor. First you will visit the ancient Karnak Temple complex, the largest place of worship ever built, and then you will move on to see the ancient Luxor Temple which is surprisingly well-preserved.

After your visit to these temples, you will then be driven to the airport where you will board a short flight Back to Cairo. On arrival at the airport in Cairo, you will once again be met by one of our tour representatives who will then escort you to the hotel where you will be staying for the night.

DAY 9 – Transfer to Jordan

The next phase of your Egypt, Jordan, Jerusalem Tour begins today, so after you have had your breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel, and our representative will meet you and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Amman, the capital of Jordan. On arrival in Amman, our tour representative will meet you, and then you will be driven to the hotel where you will be staying for this night of your tour.

DAY 10 – Jerash and Dead Sea Tour

Enjoy your breakfast, and then you will be picked up, and you will be driven to see Jerash, the ruins of an ancient Roman city. Coincidentally, this site is considered to be the best example of old Roman architecture outside Italy. After your visit to Jerash, you will be driven to the Dead Sea where you will be able to enjoy an afternoon of leisure.

The Dead Sea is the lowest place on Earth and is famous for its mineral-rich mud and because of the fact that it is the only place in the world where the water is so salty that people are able to float on top of it. As evening time starts approaching, you will then make the trip back to your hotel in Amman where you will be spending another night.

DAY 11 – Guided Tour of Petra, the Rose Red City

This day of your Egypt, Jordan, Jerusalem Tour is definitely going to be one of the highlights of your trip because once you’ve had breakfast you will be driven to see the ancient Rose Red City of Petra which was established during the 6th Century BC by the Nabatean Arabs. This remarkable site represents an entire city which was carved out of the rock faces of a 1,200-meter-long gorge which in places can be more than 80 meters deep. This tour involves quite a bit of walking so it is highly recommended to wear comfortable footwear.

It is a 700-meter walk from the visitor center to the entrance of the gorge, and then a further 1,200 meters to the far end of the gorge where you will see the most remarkable feature of them all, The Treasury. After spending approximately 3 hours at the site, our tour representative well then drive you back to your hotel in the evening, a trip which takes approximately two and a half hours. Once you get back to the hotel you will have the remainder of the day to yourself.

DAY 12 – Holy Sites of Jerusalem Tour

Our tour representative will fetch you from your hotel at 07h00 this morning, and you will proceed to the Allenby Bridge/King Hussein Border where you will leave Jordan. Your Jerusalem tour guide will then meet you and he will then drive you to the Holy City of Jerusalem via the Judean Desert.

Your actual tour begins with an opportunity to enjoy some spectacular views from the top of the Mount of Olives. Next, you will take a leisurely walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. From here, you will then proceed to the Old City to see the Wailing Wall which is all that remains of an ancient Jewish temple that was destroyed by the Romans.

If the area is open to visitors at the time of your visit, you will head up Temple Mount to see one of the world’s most holy places, the Dome of the Rock. Next, you will be taken to walk along the Via Dolorosa which is essentially the path Jesus walked with his cross before being crucified. The path leads to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher which marks the area of his crucifixion.
Your Jerusalem tour will now be over so you will be transferred back to the border with Jordan, and then on to your hotel in Amman.

DAY 13 – Egypt, Jordan, Jerusalem Tour Package Ends and Final Departure

Start the last day of your trip with another good breakfast and then at the appropriate time one of representatives will arrive at your hotel and he will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight out of Jordan. Your magical travel experience has now come to an end so it will be time for us to bid you farewell and to wish you a safe and pleasant onward journey.
