DAY 1 – Arrive Casablanca for your 23 Day Middle East Tour
Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by a Memphis Tours representative who will accompany you to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Upon reaching your hotel, proceed with the check-in process.
Activities: Transfer from Casablanca Airport to your hotel in Rabat.
Overnight stay: Rabat.
DAY 2 – Rabat to Fez Sightseeing
Start your day with breakfast before embarking on a tour of Rabat, where you will explore the city’s rich history. Highlights of the tour include visits to Chellah and Kasbah Ouddaya. Afterward, enjoy some leisure time wandering through the souks and bazaars of Rabat’s old medina. Next, head to **Café Maure** by the Bouregreg River to savor traditional Moroccan tea accompanied by local treats such as *Kaab Ghazal* and *Ghariba*.
Your journey continues to Fez with stops at Volubilis and Meknes. In Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a specialized guide will introduce you to the remnants of Roman and Berber civilizations. From there, visit the Imperial City of Meknes, created by Sultan Moulay Ismail to be Morocco’s version of Versailles. With your local guide, explore iconic landmarks such as Bab El Mansour and Lhri, the vibrant heart of the city.
Proceed to Fez for an overnight stay.
Fun fact: Kaab Ghazal translates to “Gazelle’s Hoof” in Arabic and, along with Ghariba and mint tea, represents Moroccan hospitality.

DAY 3 – Half Day Fez Tour with Pottery Workshop
After breakfast, enjoy a bit of time at the old Medina which is today a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been around ever since the 9th century. Next, you will be taken to see a number of other very popular Fez attractions, including Bou-Inania and Attarin Medersa; the tanners; Ess-Seffarine Square; Moulay Driss Tomb; El-Nejjarine Square; the cabinet makers’ souk, and the Hebrew district known as Mellah.
Following your tour, you will attend a pottery workshop with a Moroccan pottery master and when that is over, you will be taken for lunch. After lunch, you can either opt to go back to your hotel or you can choose to explore the many fascinating narrow alleys and lanes which give Fez such a unique and wonderful atmosphere.

DAY 4 – Scenic Trip to Marrakech
Today you will enjoy a wonderfully scenic trip to Marrakech, passing a number of adorable little villages along the way, including Imouzar and Ifrane. You will also stop at Beni Melal which is Morocco’s best known agricultural center. Later, when you arrive in Marrakech, you will be taken directly to the hotel where you will be staying for the next 3 nights of your Middle East trip.

DAY 5 – Marrakech Sightseeing and Kotchi Ride
This day of your Middle East tour will see you visiting a number of the top Marrakech tourist attractions, including Majorelle Garden; Menara Gardens; the Koutobia Mosque, and Mallah which is the old Jewish Quarter. Enjoy lunch at a good local restaurant, and then you will enjoy a short trip to Jamaa El Fnaa on a traditional horse-drawn carriage known as a Kotchi.
Jamaa El Fnaa is the main square around which Marrakech grew, and it is also without question one of Morocco’s best “urban” attractions. The square and the activities that take place here change throughout the day, so if you visit it in the afternoon, you can expect a completely different experience if you visit it again in the evening. After spending some time in and around the square, you will then head back to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day for yourself.

DAY 6 – Free Day in Marrakech
This day of your trip has been left open so that you can enjoy some time alone in this fascinating city. Of course, we highly recommend that you visit the square again, but at different times.

DAY 7 –Marrakech to Casablanca
After breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel and then you will travel to Casablanca. On arrival in Casablanca, your driver guide will take you to see a number of the city’s most prominent features, including the Hassan II Mosque; the Corniche; the Habous Quarters, and the Royal Palace. The palace is not open to visitors, so you will only be able to view and take photos of the outside. Following your tour, you will then be taken to check in at the hotel where you will be staying for your last night in Morocco.

DAY 8 – Transfer to Cairo
At the appropriate time, you will be travel to the airport in time for your flight to Cairo where you will be met by your tour manager and one of our drivers who will then transfer you to your hotel in Cairo. There are no tours scheduled for this day of your Middle East tour, so once you have checked in at your hotel, you will then have the remainder of the day to enjoy as you wish.

DAY 9 – Pyramids and the New Grand Egyptian Museum
Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. Your private guide will lead you to the Giza Plateau, where you’ll behold the magnificent Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Take your time exploring this historic site, including a visit to the iconic Sphinx and the ancient Valley Temple.
After immersing yourself in the wonders of Giza, enjoy a delicious lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant. Later, continue your journey to the New Grand Egyptian Museum, often called the Giza Museum, situated just 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the pyramid complex. During its preview phase, the museum offers access to select attractions, such as the Main Galleries, the Grand Hall, the impressive Grand Staircase, retail areas, and its beautifully landscaped gardens.
Conclude this enriching day by returning to your hotel in Cairo, where you can relax and unwind for the night.

DAY 10 – Transfer to Luxor, Nile Cruise Embarkation and East Bank Tour
The next exciting phase of your Middle East tour begins today, so at the confirmed time, you will be fetched from your hotel and you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Luxor. You will be met at the airport in Luxor when you land, and then you will be taken to board your 5-Star Nile cruise.
Lunch will be served on the ship shortly after boarding, and then one of our Egyptologist tour guides will escort you and a small group of our other clients for a tour on the East Bank to see Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temple complex. Following your tour, you will head back to the cruise ship, and you will have the rest of the day to yourself. Enjoy this night of your trip in your cabin on the water at Luxor.

DAY 11 – Luxor West Bank Tour and Cruise to Edfu
Today you will visit the West Bank with your guide and your small group. First, you will visit Valley of the Kings, an ancient royal necropolis which is home to more than 60 tombs, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen. While many of the tombs are not open to visitors, there are also quite a few that are. Entrance fees to the site (included) generally allow you to enter three tombs, but none of “Special Tombs” which happens to include Tutankhamen’s tomb. In order to go inside these, an additional ticket must be purchased at the site.
Next, you will be taken to see the ancient mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This vast rock-cut temple is quite understandably one of the most visited ancient sites in Egypt. After your tour at the temple, you will then enjoy a brief stop to see the Colossi of Memnon while heading back to the ship. With everyone back on board the vessel, it will then start sailing to Edfu with lunch being served along the way. There are no other tours today so you will be able to enjoy the rest of the day as you wish. This night of your Middle East tour will be spent in your cabin on the water at Edfu.

DAY 12 – Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo Temple and Cruise to Aswan
Today you will enjoy two fascinating tours. After breakfast today, you will visit the Temple of Horus which is Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple, and then you will sail to Kom Ombo where you will be taken to see the Temple of Sobek which was devoted to Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon-headed god. Following your tour, you will then sail to Aswan with lunch being served along the way. This night of your trip will be spent on the boat at Aswan.

DAY 13 – Aswan Tour
Today, you will enjoy a tour in Aswan during which you will visit three more fascinating sites: the Unfinished Obelisk, and the wonderful ancient Temple of Philae which was dedicated to two different goddesses, Isis and Hathor. After your tour, you will return to the ship in time for lunch, and then you will have the rest of the day to yourself. This night of you Middle East tour will once again be spent on the water at Aswan.

DAY 14 – Cruise Disembarkation and Transfer to Cairo
Check-out and disembark from your cruise, and then you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, you will again be met at the airport and then transferred to the hotel where you will be staying for your last night in Egypt. With no tours scheduled for this day, you are free to enjoy the rest of it as you wish.

DAY 15 – Transfer to Amman in Jordan
At the appropriate time, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the airport in time for you to catch your flight to Amman in Jordan. When you land in Jordan, one of our drivers will meet you and then transfer you to the hotel in Amman where you will be staying during your stay in Jordan. There are no tours scheduled for this day of your Middle Eastern holiday.

DAY 16 – Madaba, Mount Nebo and Dead Sea Tour
Shortly after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and then you will visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George at Madaba to see its famous 4th century Byzantine mosaic map of the Promised Land. Next, you will visit Mount Nebo and its old monastery from where you will be able to enjoy spectacular views of Jordan Valley; the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land.
After your visit to the monastery, it will be times for a trip to the Dead Sea for a relaxing afternoon and an opportunity to experience floating on the water. In the late afternoon, or whenever you are ready, you will be travel back to your hotel in Amman.

DAY 17 – Jerash, Ajloun and Umm Qais Tour
This day of your Middle East tour will see you visit another three wonderful sites, beginning with Jerash, the ruins of an ancient Roman city. This site is considered to be the best example of ancient Roman architecture outside of Italy. You will also visit the imposing Ajloun Castle, followed by a visit to Umm Qais which is the ruins of an ancient Greco Roman city that was once known as Gadara. Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel in Amman.

DAY 18 – Lost City of Petra Tour
Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel, and then you will be picked up and you will travel to Petra to see the absolutely magnificent Lost City of Petra. This is an entire city that was carved out of the sides of a rock gorge during the 6th century BC by Nabatean Arabs. It is fair to say that no Middle East tour is complete with a visit to incredible site which no amount of words can describe. You will also have a professional local guide with you during your tour which lasts for about 2 to 3 hours. Enjoy lunch at a good nearby restaurant, and then you will travel back to your hotel for your last night in Jordan.

DAY 19 – Transfer to Dubai
At the appropriate time, you will be picked up from your hotel and then driven to the airport in time for your flight to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates where you will be staying for the remaining days of your vacation. On arrival in Dubai, you will again be met, and then you will be driven to the hotel where you will be staying for the remainder of your 23-day Middle East tour. There are no tours scheduled for this day of your trip.

DAY 20 – Dubai City Tour and Dinner Cruise
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel, and you tour begin, starting with a visit to the Fort of Al Fahidi which is located Bastakiya District, and also houses the Dubai Museum. Next, you will travel across Dubai Creek on a traditional Abra boat to see the famous Gold and Spice Souks before continuing on to Jumeirah Mosque and Burj Al Arab for some amazing photo taking opportunities. Your last stop for the day will be at a relatively new Arabian-style standalone mall called Saga World, and then you will be dropped off back at your hotel and you will have the rest of the afternoon to yourself.
In the evening, you will again be picked up from your hotel and then you will be taken to board a truly unforgettable Dubai Creek dinner cruise, after which you will be driven back to your hotel for the night.

DAY 21 – Day Trip to Abu Dhabi
Today you will travel to Abu Dhabi where you will enjoy another nice tour during which you will visit the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. This is not only a strikingly beautiful mosque, but also the fourth biggest mosque in the world, capable of accommodating up to 40,000 people. You will also visit Union Square and the Corniche before driving past the Emirates Palace to Heritage Village. Your last stop of the day will be at the Louver Museum, after which you will travel back to your hotel in Dubai.

DAY 22 – Sunset Desert Dinner Safari
There are no city tours today. You will have the entire morning and part of the afternoon to yourself, and then you will be picked from your hotel, and you will travel into the desert in a clean and modern air-conditioned 4X4 vehicle to take on the dunes of Arabia. After a while, you will come to a stop on top of the area’s highest dune to enjoy breathtaking views. You will also have the chance to try some sand boarding before heading off to a Bedouin camp.
When you reach the camp you will be able to enjoy some refreshments and even a camel ride in the desert while your hosts start preparing your BBQ dinner which be served just as the sun goes down and the stars come out to play. There will also be a tanoura dancer performing to authentic Arabian music.
Later in the evening, your hosts will bid you farewell, and then you will travel back to your hotel for the final night of your trip through the Middle East.

DAY 23 Your 23 Day Middle East Tour Ends and Final Departure
This is the final day of your unforgettable travel adventure that started in North African and has now come to an end the the United Arab Emirates, so at the appropriate time, you will need to check out from your hotel, and then you will travel to the airport in time for you to catch your flight back home. You will have had an incredible three week, and they will be three weeks you will never forget, because with our 23-Day Middle East Tours, lifelong memories are guaranteed.
